9-3-25   THOUGHTS

This lesson is the way things are!  Those who seek eagerly, find!  The wicked does not learn, nor perceive the majesty of the Lord.  Verse 9 gives us dimension EFFORT QUALITY...  “At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;” And just before, “We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls.”  Ps 42:1   “As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God.”

Isa 26:7-10    The way of the righteous is smooth; O Upright One, make the path of the righteous level.  8  Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, O LORD, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls.  9  At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;   For when the earth experiences Your judgments The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. 10  Though the wicked is shown favor, He does not learn righteousness; He deals unjustly in the land of uprightness, And does not perceive the majesty of the LORD.

A Prayer:
Help our souls, O God, to rise to the level of desire  for You that we read about above.  Help us to learn You!   Give us an eager longing for a true knowledge of You.  May your name and memory lodge in our souls permanently.  Give us a powerful perception of Your Majesty, and let us abide in Your presence.  In the name of Jesus we pray,   Amen.
